This summer, the RiverViewProject festival hosts Athena Economou-Amilli from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (ΝΚUA) and the ProCleanLakes demo in Trichonis by attracting the interest of the local community.

After discussions with various public and private bodies in the wider area of ​​Trichonis Lake, our partner Athena Economou-Amilli, from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, was invited to deliver a lecture on the ProCleanLakes project in the framework of a summer festival organized by the Local Company “RiverViewProject”.

Mr. Stylianos Bletsas (Deputy Regional Governor for Sustainable Development, Energy, Spatial Planning & Environment), and Mr. Andreas Skartsaris (Deputy Mayor of Agrinion, the city to which the lake is administratively owned) were among the panel speakers.

Local community expressed interested and support on the ProCleanLakes initiative on the protection and restoration of the water and biodiversity of Trichonis Lake.
