From 23 to 25 June 2026, ProCleanLakes partners came together in Galați, Romania, for the project’s 3rd Plenary Meeting, hosted by Universitatea Dunarea de Jos din Galati (UDJG).

The meeting provided an important opportunity for partners to review the progress of the project, exchange knowledge and experiences, and discuss the next steps towards achieving the ProCleanLakes objectives. It also offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration and coordinate ongoing activities across the project.

A key highlight of the meeting was the visit to the ProCleanLakes demonstration and monitoring sites in Romania. The site visits gave partners valuable first-hand insights into the local context, ongoing monitoring activities, and the innovative solutions being implemented to support the restoration and sustainable management of freshwater ecosystems.

Alongside the site visits, partners held productive discussions on the progress of the project’s activities and upcoming actions. The combination of technical discussions, knowledge exchange and field visits contributed to strengthening cooperation across the consortium and supporting the successful implementation of the project.
