ProCleanLakes Workshop Highlights Innovative Approaches to European Lake Management
The EU-funded ProCleanLakes project organized a dynamic hybrid workshop from 25th to 30th August 2025, bringing together over 30 participants from Norway, Romania, Austria, Croatia, France, Spain, Germany, and Greece. Hosted at UiT – The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, the workshop also welcomed online participants, fostering a rich international exchange of knowledge and ideas. Οpen Call for Associated Regions: Results Announcement
The ProCleanLakes project is pleased to announce the results of its Open Call for Associated Regions, which invited applications from across Europe to support innovative, region-specific solutions for the protection and restoration of natural lakes. The Open Call ran from 1 January to 8 April 2025, offering a total budget of €300,000 to fund three selected regional projects, each receiving between up €100,000. The funded projects will officially launch between October 2025 and January 2026, with implementation period by September 2027.
