The ProCleanLakes project hosted on November 2025 the 2nd Mission Lakes Webinar, part of a Europe-wide series bringing together experts, practitioners and stakeholders to share best practices and innovative solutions for lake restoration and protection. This event, jointly organised with EUROLakes, FutureLakes and the FERRO Project, focused on entrepreneurial interest in lake protection and restoration.
#MeetTheProCleanLakesTeam: ProCleanLakes Partner, PMF (University of Zagreb)
The #MeetTheProCleanLakesTeam campaign aims to spotlight the people behind the ProCleanLakes project—researchers, innovators, and collaborators working across Europe to restore and protect our freshwater ecosystems. Through short interviews, we share personal insights, motivations, and the unique roles each team member plays in driving forward sustainable water management solutions.
Results Announcement: Make Waves for Clean Lakes hackathon
Τhe Greek team, coordinated by Anna-Maria Kanzola, created LAKEWISE & PLASTIC FREE, an educational app combining storytelling, mythological avatars, gamified missions, and real-world actions to fight plastic pollution in freshwater environments.
